Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health
Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic this morning when I woke up after a my sleep. I was sore in my back because yesterday my workout was an upper body day. I like being a morning person and I began with my warm up routine of 25 jumping jacks and some stretching before jogging off in Grand Junction, CO. I ran the loop by Rocket Park. There were some cars on the road but most of my run was just the cool silence of the early morning. At the end of the route, I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (2.0 miles, Odometer = ---.- miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.
Fitness: Back at my home, I stretched for 2 minutes and continuing my routine. Yesterday was an upper body day so today was a lower body day. I did 3 “sets” of each movement. 3 sets of 10 squats (30 total), then stretch. 3 sets of 16 lunges (8 each leg, 48 total), then stretch. 3 sets of 15 “breaths” of planking, stretch. I can do all of this without needing a gym.
