Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health
Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic after an abbreviated night's sleep because I stayed up late talking to friends. I was not overly sore from exercising yesterday and I like being a morning person. So I got up and putting on my running shoes and shorts, I did a warm up routine of 25 jumping jacks and some stretching outside before I took off running the dewy but cool morning air in Lewisburg, TN. I ran up the hill by the school, out to the main road, and back to by the play equipment as the red sun was rising over the morning mist. At the end of the route, I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (1.0 miles, Odometer = ---.- miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.
Fitness: Back from the run, I stretched for 2 minutes and continued my routine of body weight training. Yesterday was an upper body day so today was a lower body day. I did 3 “sets” of each movement. 3 sets of 13 squats (39 total) upping by one today, then stretch. 3 sets of 18 lunges (9 each leg, 54 total), then stretch. 3 sets of 17 “breaths” of planking, stretch. I can do all of this without needing a gym.

Reward time = missed breakfast of hard boiled eggs, string cheese and cereal.
