Month 3 Day 67

Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health

I continued with my fitness epic today as I struggled to wake up this morning after a night of sleep because I had deprived myself of a couple hours the night before.  When I did finally get out of bed, it was still early and despite my legs being a bit sore, I was motivated.  After using the bathroom, I put on my running shoes (my stimulus), arm warmers, and running shorts.  I like being a morning person and I walked outside into the rainy morning in Kent, WA.  I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and a bit of stretching.  I began to run up a huge hill to a nearby school where I did 4 & 7/8 pull ups, and 2 & 1/2 chin ups interspersed by 3 sets of 8 push-ups (24 total).  On the run back was feeling great and was excited to take the long route, so I did.  Like clockwork, I arrived back just as my knee said it had had enough for the day.  No need to push it.  My route allowed me to again pass the one mile challenge (1.6 miles, Odometer = 132.1 miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.

Back at the house I was staying at, I stretched for 2 minutes and continued my routine.  I did 3 sets of 16 dumbbell rows (8 each arm, 48 total) using a full backpack as weight, stretch. I continue to enjoy my commitment to not using gym machines.

Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health

No Faith ND, it is Saturday.

I set my alarm for 4 minutes of walking mediation and 4 minutes of sitting meditation as I continued my meditation practice.  I used my stress eraser. During the 4 minutes of walking meditation (two, 8 foot sections) the sensor well and I scored 11 points.  Next, I did 4 minutes of sitting meditation. I sat and focused on lessening the sound of my breathing while still maximizing the up and down of the stress eraser wave.  At the end of the 4 minutes of sitting meditation, the stress eraser had track very well and it read a total of 31 points, 20 more for sitting (Point Count = 599).  It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, spiritually.

Daily Priority #3 - Intellectual Health

I did not write today (words written ---, Word Count = 5513). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a writer even if there is not always time to write.

Reward time = breakfast of pumpkin pancakes and sausage.

Journey far,
