Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health
Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic as woke up very early after a sleep that was preceded by staying up late talking with friends. Because I am a morning person, I was able to sneak in a meditation and then put on my running shoes (my stimulus), arm warmers, and running shorts. I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and some stretching outside and then began to run through the neighborhood in Tacoma, WA. The run was short, in a place that I knew where to find a pull bar at a park. I did 4 7/8 pull ups, and 3 chin ups. My route allowed me to again pass the one mile challenge (1.1 miles, Odometer = 149.3 miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.
Fitness: Back at the house I was staying at, I stretched for 2 minutes and continued my routine. I did 3 sets of 20 dumbbell rows (10 each arm, 60 total) using a full backpack as weight, stretch and 3 sets of 10 push-ups (30 total). I continue to enjoy my commitment to not using gym machines because I don't need a gym.
Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health
Spiritual Reading: Faith ND
Meditation: I set my alarm for 4 minutes of walking mediation and 4 minutes of sitting meditation as I continued my meditation practice. I used my stress eraser. During the 4 minutes of walking meditation (two, 8 foot sections) the sensor tracked well and I scored 10 points. I did 4 minutes of sitting meditation and at the end of the 4 minutes, the stress eraser had tracked well as I focused on mental "touching points" and at the end it read a total of 21 points, 11 more for sitting (Point Count = 829). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, spiritually.
Daily Priority #3 - Intellectual Health
Writing: I began writing a new chapter today, "Nomadic Exhaustion" (words written 513, Word Count = 8546) and it flowed as soon as I began writing. It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a writer because there is always time to write.
Daily Priority #4 - Emotional Health
Reward time = breakfast of oatmeal.
