Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health
Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic this morning after a restful but short sleep because I was up playing cards with friends. It is nice being a morning person because I was able to do a meditation and then put on my running shoes (my stimulus), arm warmers, and running shorts and head out the door. I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and some stretching inside. I ran a familiar route in west Seattle. It was the same route that I ran back at the beginning. It was a gorgeous morning in Seattle and the morning commute traffic was just beginning to come alive as I ran. There was not rain clouds and the sun was just beginning to peek through the light blue translucent sky. The hill that I ran up was one that I had previously struggled to summit and today I cruised up it with a slight burn in my hamstrings reminding me of my run the previous day but in no way hampering my run today. At the end of my route, I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (1.2 miles, Odometer = 188.1 miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.
Fitness: Back at the house I was staying at, I stretched for a few minutes while I cooled down before I continued my routine. I did 5 pull ups, and 4 1/6 chin ups using a pull up bar installed in a doorway of the house. I did 3 sets of 24 dumbbell rows (12 each arm, 72 total) using a full backpack as weight, stretch. I also did 3 sets of 12 push-ups (36 total). I continue to enjoy my commitment to not using gym machines because I don't need a gym.
Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health
Spiritual Reading: Faith ND
Meditation: I set my alarm for 4 minutes of walking mediation and 4 minutes of sitting meditation as I continued my meditation practice using my stress eraser. I did 4 minutes of walking meditation (two, 6 foot sections) and my stress eraser tracked very well scoring 17 points. While I walked I visualized a way to improve the quotes at the top of my web pages. I did 4 minutes of sitting meditation where I focused on breathing. Admittedly I was distracted by thoughts needing to get my car fixed. In spite of my distracted mind, my breathing was great and at the end the total read 38 points, 21 more for sitting (Point Count = 1511). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, spiritually.
Daily Priority #3 - Intellectual Health
Writing: I continued to write "beat down by the winds of change" (words written 226, Word Count = 16,961). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a writer because there is always time to write.
Daily Priority #4 - Emotional Health
Daily Priority #5 - Professional Health
Side Gig: I continued adding onto my side gig writing about about Steve (words written 354 Word Count = 4,487). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started on my project because never too late to start a business.
