Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health
Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic waking up at a reasonable hour after a short sleep because I was up late working on an Intentionality Ink Post. On days like today it is convenient to be a morning person because I struggled to get out of bed. When I did get out of bed, I made a mental note that my muscles in my back were tight from yesterday's workout especially around my shoulder blades. I chose not to meditate first and went straight to putting on my running shoes (my stimulus), arm warmers, and running shorts. I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and some stretching inside. The morning in Seattle, WA was dark and overcast with inconsistent drops of water falling from the sky. I ran up the hill and as I did I made a mental note that my pace was reasonable but probably because of the lack of sleep, I felt slow. At the turn around point, I had warmed up so much that I was too hot wearing my arm warmers, so I took them off and ran with them in my hand. At the end of my route, I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (1.2 miles, Odometer = 191.7 miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.
Fitness: Back at the house I am staying in, I stretched for 2 minutes before continuing my routine. Yesterday was an upper body day so today was a lower body day. I did 3 “sets” of each movement. 3 sets of 12 squats (33 total), then stretch. 3 sets of 18 lunges (9 each leg, 54 total), then stretch. 3 sets of 22 “breaths” of planking, stretch. I can do all of this without needing a gym.
Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health
Spiritual Reading: Faith ND
Meditation: I set my alarm for 4 minutes of walking mediation and 4 minutes of sitting meditation as I continued my meditation practice using my stress eraser. During the 4 minutes of walking meditation (two, 6 foot sections) I was excited because not only was the sensor tracking, it was tracking really well and I scored 19 points. During the 4 minutes of sitting meditation, the stress eraser continued to track really well. I focused on breathing and mental touching points (hip flexors, behind the knees, ankles, and drawing a star on my back). I scored a total point count of 39, 20 more for sitting (Point Count = 1563). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, spiritually.
Daily Priority #3 - Intellectual Health
Writing: I continued writing about "beat down by the winds of change" (words written 214, Word Count = 17,727). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a writer because there is always time to write.
Daily Priority #4 - Emotional Health
Daily Priority #5 - Professional Health
Side Gig: I ran out of time and was unable to add onto my side gig today (words written ---, Word Count = 5,015). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started on my project because never too late to start a business.
