Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health
Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic this morning after a great sleep. It is good that I am a morning person because I was able to do a meditation and writing before putting on my running shoes (my stimulus), arm warmers, and running shorts. I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and some stretching inside while waiting for Lisa. I ran in Colorado Springs, CO on a path through a suburban neighborhood. The path led to a street that had been expanded beyond Google's knowledge so Lisa and I continued to follow the newly created streets and neighborhoods before turning around and running back to a park. At the park I did 5 & 1/3 pull ups, and 4 7/8 chin ups using the monkey bars. At the end of my route, I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (2.5 miles, Odometer = 194.2 miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.
Fitness: Back at the house I was staying at, I stretched for a few minutes while I cooled down before I continued my routine. I did 3 sets of 24 dumbbell rows (12 each arm, 72 total) using a kitchen aid mixer (without the bowl) as weight, stretch. I also did 3 sets of 12 push-ups (36 total). I continue to enjoy my commitment to not using gym machines because I don't need a gym. An interesting note is that the consecutive push up and dumbbell rows caused a deep burn and general tiredness in my arms.
Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health
Spiritual Reading: No Faith ND today, it is Saturday.
Meditation: I set my alarm for 4 minutes of walking mediation and 4 minutes of sitting meditation as I continued my meditation practice using my stress eraser. I did 4 minutes of walking meditation (two, 6 foot sections) and my stress eraser tracked well and I scored 15 points. I did 4 minutes of sitting meditation where I focused my focus was mild to poor. The stress eraser tracked ok and at the end the total read 25 points, 10 more for sitting (Point Count = 1588). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, spiritually.
Daily Priority #3 - Intellectual Health
Writing: I continued to write "beat down by the winds of change" (words written 328, Word Count = 18,055). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a writer because there is always time to write.
Daily Priority #4 - Emotional Health
Daily Priority #5 - Professional Health
Side Gig: I continued adding onto my side gig writing about John (words written 350, Word Count = 5,365). I admit that I actually wrote this on Monday becauses I was traveling and exhausted. It amazes me how far I have come from where I started on my project because never too late to start a business.
Reward time = breakfast of eggs.
