Month 4, Day 110

Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health

Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic even though I struggled to wake up after a restless night's sleep at high altitude.  Nonetheless, being a morning person  allowed me to get up and moving.  I chose not to meditate first and went straight to putting on my running shoes (my stimulus), arm warmers, and running shorts.  I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and some stretching inside while waiting for Lisa.  Once outside in the beautiful, but chilly Colorado Springs, CO morning we ran up a paved trail through the neighborhood.  The hill took us to a knoll, where the orange sun was just beginning to brighten the entire city.  On the run back down, my hands got cold from being exposed to the early morning, high altitude air.  At the end of my route, I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (2 miles, Odometer = 196.2 miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.

Fitness: Back at the house I am staying in, I stretched for 2 minutes before continuing my routine.  Yesterday was an upper body day so today was a lower body day.  I did 3 “sets” of each movement.  3 sets of 12 squats (33 total), then stretch. 3 sets of 18 lunges (9 each leg, 54 total), then stretch.  3 sets of 22 “breaths” of planking, stretch.  I can do all of this without needing a gym.

Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health

Spiritual Reading: No Faith ND daily passage today, it is Sunday.  At church I used my homemade journal to ask God how I could become the best version of myself.  I wrote the words "our fighting negates the one thing we know" inspired by John 17: 20-21

Meditation: I set my alarm for 4 minutes of walking mediation and 4 minutes of sitting meditation as I continued my meditation practice using my stress eraser.  During the 4 minutes of walking meditation (two, 6 foot sections) I the sensor tracked well and I scored 11 points.  During the 4 minutes of sitting meditation, the stress eraser continued to track really well and my breathing was good but my thoughts wandered how I was going to begin reading Mr Money Mustache and incorporating it into Intentionality Ink.  I also was poor in my discipline and found myself bothered by both being too hot as well as an itch on my nose.  I scored a total point count of 32, 21 more for sitting (Point Count = 1609).  It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, spiritually.

Daily Priority #3 - Intellectual Health

Writing: I continued writing about "beat down by the winds of change" (words written 238, Word Count = 18,293).  I admit that I actually wrote this on Monday becauses I was traveling and exhausted.  It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a writer because there is always time to write.

Daily Priority #4 - Emotional Health

Inspiration: The Simple Dollar shares 10 Pieces Of Inspiration (Inspiration Shared = 39). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, inspirationally.

Contemplation: I reflected on past Reminiscinable Shared Experiences (RSEs) when I wrote 39 BC. It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, in my reflections.

Daily Priority #5 - Professional Health

Side Gig: I continued adding onto my side gig writing about John (words written 205, Word Count = 5,570).I admit that I actually wrote this on Monday becauses I was traveling and exhausted.  It amazes me how far I have come from where I started on my project because never too late to start a business.

Reward

Reward time = breakfast of yogurt and granola.

I have been fortunate enough to pay off all my debt, travel to all 7 continents, and complete a Bachelors of Psychology & MBA in Finance. I am eternally grateful to the brilliant and self-less people who have gone before me to pave the road.
