Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health
Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic when I woke up rested after a good sleep. My neck was a little sore because I slept on a couch but good overall. I appreciated being a morning person that let me wake up before all other people and get going. I put on my running shoes (my stimulus), arm warmers, running shorts, earmuffs, and gloves. A fun side note is that I got new running shoes for the first time since summer 2011. My old Brooks Adrenaline probably had at least three times the recommended milage of 500 miles for the lifespan of a running shoe, so it was way past time. I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and some stretching outside. I ran a circle around a few city blocks in Billings, MT where the temperature is about 20 degrees fahrenheit which again almost felt warm in comparison to this past weekend. Halfway through my run, I went to a park play structure and I did 4 & 1/2 pull ups, and 4 chin ups. At the end of my route, I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (1.2 miles, Odometer = 178.4 miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.
Fitness: Back at the apartment I was staying at, I stretched for 2 minutes and continued my routine. I did 3 sets of 22 dumbbell rows (11 each arm, 66 total) using a full backpack as weight, stretch. I also did 3 sets of 11 push-ups (33 total). I continue to enjoy my commitment to not using gym machines because I don't need a gym.
Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health
Spiritual Reading: Faith ND
Meditation: I set my alarm for 4 minutes of walking mediation and 4 minutes of sitting meditation as I continued my meditation practice but was not able to use my stress eraser because I need to get new batteries for it. During the 4 minutes of walking meditation (three, 6 foot sections) I missed my stress eraser and wonder if I have become addicted to points. During the 4 minutes of sitting meditation I tried to focus on mental touching points but my mind wandered to The White Coat Investor's book... I'm not sure why... (Point Count = 1312). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, spiritually.
Daily Priority #3 - Intellectual Health
Writing: I continued writing about "beat down by the winds of change" today (words written 230, Word Count = 14,498). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a writer because there is always time to write.
Daily Priority #4 - Emotional Health
Daily Priority #5 - Professional Health
Side Gig: I continued adding onto my side gig writing about Julie (words written 278, Word Count = 1932). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started on my project because never too late to start a business.
Reward time = breakfast of cinnamon bread and a banana and a morning of working on my laptop using my fitdesk (10 miles, Odometer = 514.5). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a rider.
