Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health
Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic after a full night's sleep. Today, my upper body, especially my back, was a bit more sore than anywhere else due to all the exercise yesterday. I like being a morning person but it was hard to get out of bed as early as I would have liked. Eventually I was able to get up and do a meditation before putting on my running shoes (my stimulus), arm warmers, running shorts, and a pair of cheap, knit gloves. I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and some stretching inside. Then, I took off running up the big hill that I had run up many times before. This morning I felt slow, but simultaneously was encouraged by moving my legs and the cloud spotted hazy blue sky. At the turn around point, my body was warm and by the end of my route, I was sweating. I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (1.4 miles, Odometer = 229.5 miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.
Fitness: Back at the house I am staying in, I stretched for 2 minutes before continuing my routine. Yesterday was an upper body day so today was a lower body day. I did 3 “sets” of each movement. 3 sets of 14 squats (42 total), then stretch. 3 sets of 18 lunges (9 each leg, 54 total), then stretch. 3 sets of 24 “breaths” of planking, stretch. I can do all of this without needing a gym.
Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health
Spiritual Reading: Faith ND
Meditation: I set my alarm for 4 minutes of walking mediation and 4 minutes of sitting meditation as I continued my meditation practice using my stress eraser. During the 4 minutes of walking meditation (two, 6 foot sections) I the sensor tracked well and I scored 13 points. During the 4 minutes of sitting meditation, the stress eraser basically stopped tracking and even with a reset did not restart tracking. When I opened my eyes at the end of the 4 minutes, the point count read 15, just 2 more for sitting (Point Count = 2,070). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, spiritually although I can't help but notice the irony of public spirituality.
Daily Priority #3 - Intellectual Health
Writing: I continued writing about "beat down by the winds of change" (words written 226, Word Count = 24,346). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a writer because there is always time to write.
Daily Priority #4 - Emotional Health
Daily Priority #5 - Professional Health
Side Gig: I was not able to continue adding to this today (words written ---, Word Count = 8,875), nonetheless, it amazes me how far I have come from where I started on my project because never too late to start a business.
Daily Priority #6 - Financial Health
