Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health
Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic after a much needed sleep where I woke up very early and was slow to wake up but felt reasonable well rested. I was a bit sore from in my hamstrings from my workout yesterday. Because I am a morning person, I set to work putting on my running shoes (my stimulus), arm warmers, running shorts, and a pair of thin knit gloves which turned out to be amazingly important. I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and some stretching inside. Then, I stepped outside into the weirdly frigid Spokane morning. It had been raining earlier and there were still puddles of water on the ground. The wind gusted against my synthetic t shirt and made me really glad I had the arm warmers and gloves. I ran to Thornton Murphy Park in Spokane. As I ran the wind continued to chill my body making it difficult to breath, causing me to have to spit, and causing my nose to run. I ran to the play equipment where I did 6 & 4/5 pull ups, and 6 & 1/8 chin ups on the monkey bars which were a little close together so I had to watch my head. Then I ran to the start of my route. I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (1.8 miles, Odometer = 243.5 miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.
Fitness: Back at the apartment I was working at, I stretched for a few minutes while I cooled down before I continued my routine. I did 3 sets of 28 dumbbell rows (14 each arm, 84 total) using a full backpack as weight, stretch. I also did 3 sets of 14 push-ups (42 total). I continue to enjoy my commitment to not using gym machines because I don't need a gym.
Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health
Spiritual Reading: Faith ND
Meditation: I set my alarm for 4 minutes of walking mediation and 4 minutes of sitting meditation as I continued my meditation practice using my stress eraser. During the 4 minutes of walking meditation (two, 6 foot sections) the sensor tracked poorly and I scored only 3 points. I tried to reset the sensor multiple times during the 4 minutes of sitting meditation, and this caused my mediation focus to be poor. At the end of the 4 minutes, the sensor was still not tracking well and finished with a point count of 4, only 1 more for sitting (Point Count = 2,168). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, spiritually although I can't help but notice the paradox of public spirituality.
Daily Priority #3 - Intellectual Health
Writing: I continued writing about the "Trans-Siberian Railroad" (words written 271, Word Count = 25,276). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a writer because there is always time to write.
Daily Priority #4 - Emotional Health
Daily Priority #5 - Professional Health
Side Gig: I was not able to continue adding onto my side gig writing about Ken (words written ---, Word Count = 9,419). Nonetheless, it amazes me how far I have come from where I started on my project because never too late to start a business.
Daily Priority #6 - Financial Health
Money Management: I was not able to continue reading through Mr Money Mustache's posts in March 2012 (Reading Days = 11.5). Nonetheless, it amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a reader.
