Month 6, Day 170

Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health

Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic waking up after a full night's sleep.  I woke up a little sore in my calves and hamstrings from my workout yesterday.  I like being a morning person because I did a meditation session and then got to work putting on my running shoes (my stimulus), arm warmers, running shorts, and thin knit gloves.  I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and some stretching inside.  When I stepped outside it was a pleasant but cool spring day in Spokane, WA.  I began to run on the western outskirt of Spokane along a busy street that was not so busy today.  I found the same tree branch that I have been using recently and was able to do 6 & 7/8 pull ups, and 5 & 4/5 chin ups before running back to my starting point.  At the end of the route, I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (1.3 miles, Odometer = --.- miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.

Fitness: Back at the apartment I was staying at, I stretched for a few minutes while I cooled down before I continued my routine.  I did 3 sets of 30 dumbbell rows (15 each arm, 90 total) using a full backpack as weight, stretch.  I also did 3 sets of 15 push-ups (45 total).  I continue to enjoy my commitment to not using gym machines because I don't need a gym.

Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health

Spiritual Reading: Faith ND

Meditation: I set my alarm for 4.5 minutes walking meditation and 4 minutes sitting meditation as I continued my meditation practice using my stress eraser.  During the 4 minutes walking meditation (two, 6 foot sections) the sensor tracked very well and I scored 22 points.  During the sitting meditation, I focused on the phrase "will you follow me?"  The sensor tracked well and I finished with a point count of 38, 16 more for sitting (Point Count = -,---).  It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, spiritually although I do note the paradox of public spirituality.

Reward

Reward time = breakfast of a oatmeal and a day of working on my laptop using my fitdesk (10 miles, Odometer = 1018).  It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, as a rider.
