Month 7, Day 185

Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health

Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic after a short night's sleep.  I was sore from yesterday's workout but especially from my run two days ago.  Being a morning person I went directly to work putting on my running shoes (my stimulus), and running shorts.  I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and some stretching before I stepped outside into the cool, sunny Spokane morning.  I took off running and immediately noted the serene air with no cars heard in any direction.  I relished the cool morning air and the silence.  At the end of the route, I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (1.7 miles, Odometer = ---.- miles).  It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.

Fitness: Back at the apartment I was staying at, I stretched for 2 minutes before continuing my routine.  Yesterday was an upper body day so today was a lower body day.  I did 3 “sets” of each movement.  3 sets of 16 squats (48 total), then stretch. 3 sets of 20 lunges (10 each leg, 60 total), then stretch.  3 sets of 25 “breaths” of planking, stretch.  I can do all of this without needing a gym.

Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health

Spiritual Reading: Faith ND

Meditation: I did not have time to meditate today because I was moving.

I have been fortunate enough to pay off all my debt, travel to all 7 continents, and complete a Bachelors of Psychology & MBA in Finance. I am eternally grateful to the brilliant and self-less people who have gone before me to pave the road.
