Month 7, Day 192

Daily Priority #1 - Physical Health

Exercise: I continued with my fitness epic waking up early after a short sleep.  I woke up really sore from my workout yesterday.  I was awake but my legs were tight and my upper body tired.  I like being a morning person but today I just did not have the energy I am used to having.  I did a warm up routine of 35 jumping jacks and some stretching outside.  I stepped outside on a sunny and bright spring morning in Seattle, WA.  I ran through the neighborhood near the apartment that I have been working at to a nearby lake that I ran around which was pleasant although had a few more walkers and runners out that I passed than I would have preferred. I found a school where I did 5 & 1/3 pull ups, and 8 & 1/2 chin ups before running back to my starting point.  The pull ups were done second because I was oddly tired before doing them to the point where I failed doing even one before switching to chin ups.  At the end of the route, I was able to again pass the one mile challenge (2.9 miles, Odometer = --.- miles). It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, physically.

Fitness: Back at the apartment I was staying at, I stretched for a few minutes while I cooled down before I continued my routine.  I did 3 sets of 30 dumbbell rows (15 each arm, 90 total) using a as dumbbell weight, stretch.  I also did 3 sets of 15 push-ups (45 total).  I continue to enjoy my commitment to not using gym machines because I don't need a gym.

Daily Priority #2 - Spiritual Health

Spiritual Reading: Faith ND

Meditation: I set my alarm for 4 minutes walking meditation and 4 minutes sitting meditation as I continued my meditation practice using my stress eraser.  I did 4 minutes walking meditation (two, 6 foot sections) where the sensor tracked poorly despite good focus on each motion being good and I scored 4 points.  During the 4 minutes of sitting meditation, I focused well and I finished with a point count of 20, 16 more for sitting (Point Count = -,---).  It amazes me how far I have come from where I started, spiritually although I do note the paradox of public spirituality.
